01
Higher education & VET PeopleSoft
PeopleSoft modernisation across education
Functional consulting, business analysis and technical delivery for a large Australian education institution, supporting the transition from Tribal EBS to PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and the ongoing modernisation of its student management platform.
Published MCA work

Challenge

The institution’s Tribal EBS student management system was out of support and approaching retirement. Its complex higher education and vocational education and training requirements needed to be carried across to PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.

The transition required substantial customisation to accommodate processes previously managed in Tribal EBS, making this a multi-year implementation spanning business requirements, application development and platform administration.

MCA’s work

McArthur & Associates provided functional analysts, business analysts, PeopleSoft developers, system administrators and release-management specialists to support the implementation.

The team helped translate the institution’s requirements into PeopleSoft functionality and supported the development and delivery of customisations needed to accommodate VET within Campus Solutions. Functional and technical specialists worked across the programme over several years.

Following the successful implementation, MCA supported a PeopleTools upgrade and the application of the latest PeopleSoft Update Manager updates available at the time to maintain platform supportability.

Published scope

Student management capabilities transitioned from Tribal EBS to PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, with customisations supporting the institution’s education and VET requirements.

Subsequent PeopleTools and application updates modernised the existing PeopleSoft environment and helped maintain a supported platform for ongoing operations.

RETAIL / ORACLE DATABASE · EXADATA
Keeping critical retail systems moving
Oracle Exadata implementation, database migration and performance optimisation for a large Australian retailer and its subsidiaries, supporting business-critical systems and a point-of-sale rollout across more than 2,500 stores.
Published MCA work
